Job Description:

Under the direct supervision of a technologist, supervisor, pathologist assistant or pathologist, performs routine preparatory procedures of patient specimens in a prompt, accurate and reliable manner. Assists in receiving, storing, distributing and controlling of inventory.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

REPOST High School Diploma or GED required. Associate of Arts in Laboratory Technology preferred. 1 year of experience in health care environment with laboratory involvement required or Minimum of an associate's degree (or equivalent) in a medical field or life sciences major from an accredited institution; OR currently enrolled in the minimum of an associate's degree (or equivalent) in a medical field or life sciences field from an accredited institution with at least part time status. Data Entry Alpha Numeric (Hard Copy) Skills Test required.

Salary Range:

$21.43-$27.11 per hour Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
