Job Description:

Responsible for evaluating, recommending, educating and administering selected Respiratory Care to all patients requiring treatment.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

AAS Degree in Respiratory Care, New York State Respiratory Therapist License upon hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) – required within 90 days from hire. Ped Adv Life Sp (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 6 months. Neona Resus Prog (NRP) required. (OCH Only) OCH - For those Respiratory Therapists hired on or before 01/01/2019, they will have until 09/01/2019 to obtain PALS & ACLS and must remain current. All new hires or transfers after 01/01/2019, must obtain and remain current PALS & ACLS within six (6) months from date or hire or transfer. OCH cost centers 10122 and 10031 - RTs hired on or before 1/26/2021 will have until 10/31/2021 to obtain NRP and must remain current. All new hires/transfers after 1/26/2021 must obtain NRP within nine (9) months of date of hire/transfer and must remain current.

$36.77-$46.54 per hour Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
