Job Description:

Provides direction of the health information clerical staff as well as administrative support in the operations of the department by overseeing and performing varied and complex administrative functions requiring independent judgment. Responsible for the oversight of one or more health information departments.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

AAS - Associate of Applied Science in Health Information required. BS - Bachelor of Science in Health Information preferred. 2 years of experience in supervision preferred. Reg Health Info Tech (RHIT) required upon hire.
